Turkey and Cranberry Christmas Cookies for Dogs

Making turkey bone broth for your dog is a great way to use the turkey carcass that is left after Christmas lunch. The broth can be used in this delicious recipe, among others, to make cute Christmas biscuits for your dog. Give your dog a taste of Christmas this festive season with my ‘Christmas cookies for dogs’ recipe.

These biscuits make excellent gifts for all your doggy friends

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Before you begin, pre-heat your oven to 175˚C (350°F) and line a baking tray with grease-proof paper.
  2. Then combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Roll out to a 0.5cm thickness.
  4. Use a cookie cutter to cut out your biscuit shapes and place these on your tray.
  5. Finally, bake in the middle of an oven for around 20 minutes.

*Top Tip: to personalise your biscuits, use a cookie stamp to add your dog’s name – I used this very cheap XCOZU letter stamper. Personalised, the biscuits will make excellent gifts for all your doggy friends.

There are many amazing health benefits to feeding your dog bone broth, including treating diarrhoea, AND dogs love broth due to its enticing smell. You can use it to soak kibble, make rice or porridge, give it as a nutritious drink or use it in numerous biscuit recipes. It can be frozen for later use.
