Of all the treats I make for my dogs, these are by far their favourite and they are super easy to make. They are bitesize, which makes them perfect for training exercises or to use as a reward for good behaviour whilst out walking – they are even small enough to use in most puzzle feeders! Pumpkin is beneficial for your dog’s health, and can be given to aid both constipation and diahorrea. It can help dogs with indigestion or upset stomachs. Peanut butter is a great source of protein, but also contains heart healthy fats, vitamin E and vitamin B. You must ensure that your Peanut Butter does not contain xylitol as this could be lethal if ingested by dogs. Keep reading to find out how to make pumpkin and peanut butter dog training treats.
